Most Texas auto insurance companies will grant the participant of a Texas online defensive driving safety course a 10% insurance discount that is valid for next three (3) years.
The envelope that you receive after completion of our Texas online defensive driving safety course will actually contain two certificates: one for the court and the other for your auto insurance agent. We suggest that you make a copy of the auto insurance certificate in case you change auto insurance companies later. The 10% auto insurance discount is valid for next three (3) years even if you switch insurance companies.
The 10% auto insurance discount is valid with most Texas insurance companies except (possibly) county mutuals, regardless of the reason that you took the course; i.e., pure education, insurance discount, or ticket dismissal.
Employment
Your employer may also require you to complete our Texas online defensive driving safety program to reinforce safe driving habits and enhance your knowledge of Texas traffic laws. Additionally, you may take our Texas online defensive driving safety course voluntarily at any time should you desire a refresher course on Texas traffic laws and defensive driving safety techniques.
